INTERSHORES I FATF Grey List 23 June 2023

When the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) places a jurisdiction under increased monitoring,  it means the country has committed to resolve swiftly the identified strategic deficiencies within agreed timeframes and is subject to increased monitoring. This list is often externally referred to as the “grey list".  As of 23 June 2023, the countries under grey list are as follows:


Albania, Barbados, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Croatia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gibraltar Haiti, Jamaica, Jordan, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Panama, Philippines, Senegal, South Arica, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkiye, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Yemen

You are suggested to conduct a due diligence on your suppliers/customers/counterparties to ensure that they do not fall under FATF's recommendation or be alert in dealing with captioned jurisdiction.
